Nursery Deputy Manager - 35 hour contract at our Hemlington setting. 

 

We are looking for a full time Deputy Manager for our busy Hemlington setting. 

As the settings Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Nursery Manager in ensuring the effective daily management of the Nursery. This includes, but is not limited to the below:  

 

  • Being a role model to the staff team. Including, showcasing a high-quality practice with regards to individual and group work with children.

  • Dealing with staff and parent issues if they arise.

  • Supporting and actively promoting the safety, security and well-being of all children, staff and visitors at all times.

  • Acting as the Setting Manager (Designated Safeguarding Person) within the setting in the Nursery Manager’s absence, dealing with any issues if they arise.

  • Working alongside the Nursery Manager to lead the nursery to reach an Outstanding grading with Ofsted.

  • Playing an active role in completing a rigorous action plan that supports the development of areas set out in the ‘Corporate Plan’.

  • Embracing, understanding and promoting Rosedene Nurseries. Understanding the role you play as a member of the management team in providing high levels of care and education.

 

In order to be successful in your application you would require the following experience/qualifications: 

  • At least 12 months experience working at Senior Level.

  • At least a Level 3 qualification. 

  • An thorough, detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted. 

  • An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families.

  • Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies.

  • The ability to demonstrate multi agency working and experience of leading staff meetings. 

 

This position is 35 hours per week.

Room Leader - Rosedene Northallerton

 

We are looking for a Room Leader to join the team at our busy Rosedene Northallerton nursery setting.

 

As Room Leader, it would be your responsibility to work as part of the Management team to provide professional support and guidance to our staff and to ensure that all children receive the highest standards of care and education that Rosedene is renowned for.

To be successful, you must hold a full and relevant qualification in Early Years at Level 3 or above, understand and ensure the requirements of the EYFS and Ofsted are met and ideally have experience working in a busy nursery setting. A full UK Driving Licence is also essential.

This exciting position includes heavy involvement in our Forest School & Beach School programs and also our Care Home partnerships. As Room Leader, you would also be expected to be heavily involved in the marketing and promotion of your setting and would be looked to for ideas and campaigns to boost your following and network.

Nursery Nurse - 35-hour contract at our Northallerton setting.

 

A Level 3 or above Nursery Nurse is required for our busy day nursery in Northallerton.

 

Must have previous experience and a good understanding of the EYFS and the Welfare requirements.  Must have good communication skills and be able to work in partnership with parents and outside professionals.

 

This exciting position includes heavy involvement in our Forest School & Beach School programs and also our Care Home partnerships.

Part Time Nursery Nurse - 24 hour contract at our Saltburn setting. 

We currently an amazing vacancy available at our setting. We are looking for highly experienced, dedicated Level 3+ Part Time Nursery Nurse to join our Saltburn team.

Apprenticeships
Here at Rosedene Nurseries we also offer fantastic apprenticeship opportunities for anyone looking for a career in childcare.  As an apprentice you will be completing a Level 2 or 3 diploma in Childcare. The qualification is work based and will run alongside a 30-hour position in one of our nurseries, where you will be fully trained and supervised by a qualified member of staff. You may also be required to attend the training centre when requested to do so by your training provider. The duration of the apprenticeship is 1 year and 1 day, once you have completed this your performance will be reviewed by your Manager and a decision will be made regarding your ongoing employment.

Apprentice Nursery Nurse - 30 Hours - Rosedene Northallerton

We are currently looking for an apprentice to join our Rosedene Northallerton team due to an increase in numbers. If you were to be successful, you will be offered a 30 hour position to join the busy team which takes children from 6 weeks+.

As an apprentice, you will be expected to work alongside the team and assist wherever required whilst studying towards your Childcare Qualification. You will be included in activities such as our Forest School ethos and Care Home partnership and gain vast experience in our amazing nursery.
