Rosedene COVID-19 Status
Updated 26th March 2020
Rosedene are committed to being open, offering extending hours, 7 days per week for all key workers and for vulnerable children. This is in response to the government calling for nurseries to play their vital role in enabling key workers to continue to work; supporting everyone we can through these unprecedented circumstances.
Our staff & Leadership team have been extremely positive and supportive, and for this
reason we are able to maintain our service and offer a wide range of care options to support
the current needs.
In order to support Key Workers and Vulnerable Children, we have agreed to designate one Rosedene ‘Hub’ setting in each of the Local Authority Areas in which we operate, and which can be accessed by all eligible parents regardless of where they live and whether they are an existing customer or not. Rosedene Nurseries in Easterside, Hardwick, Northallerton and Saltburn will become our 4 main Nursery Hubs, providing childcare for all key workers across the region. Guisborough, Ormesby, Hemlington, Kader, Sunrise, St Pauls, Egglescliffe will close and will reopen again when needed.
Rosedene have offered, in circumstances where their normal provider has closed, to provide the care to children eligible for Government Grant Funded care for 2 & 3 year olds free of charge until the end of this school term.
We have also frozen the fee increases due in line with minimum wage increases in April until
at least June 2020.
We are hugely grateful to our parents and children, whether staying at home or attending nursery, who have worked with us through this difficult time. So thank you to everyone for pulling together to enable us to continue to operate.

We continue to communicate with and provide activities for our Rosedene parents and children at home each day.
